MACKENZIE CLIFT

Project Manager, The Disparities Solutions Center

Mackenzie Clift is a Project Manager at the Massachusetts General Hospital Disparities Solutions Center (DSC), where she manages several health equity-focused programs that support leadership development, mentorship, and workforce diversity. Having spent the past seven years at Mass General Brigham, she has developed extensive experience in program management, operations, communications, and event planning within academic medicine and healthcare.

Before becoming a Project Manager, Mackenzie served as an Administrative Coordinator within the Mongan Institute, where she supported research and education programs across the institution. Prior to joining Mass General Brigham, she worked in higher education and nonprofit settings, gaining experience in administration, customer service, marketing, and event management. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Sociology from Sacred Heart University.

At the DSC, Mackenzie oversees the Health Equity Leadership Program, the MGB Biomedical Research Internship Program, and the Secondary Mentorship Program for Research Faculty. Her works includes managing program operations, coordinating events and educational sessions, recruiting and supporting participants and mentors, leading communications efforts, and evaluating program outcomes. She also manages the DSC website and newsletter and supports collaborative initiatives aimed at advancing health equity and creating opportunities for the next generation of healthcare leaders and researchers.
