Dr. Tull’s expertise is in program evaluation and performance management in the social service and healthcare industries, with emphasis on elders, people with disabilities and underserved populations. In her role as Senior Director for Quality Performance Management in the Lawrence Center for Quality and Safety at Massachusetts General Hospital, Andrea leads a broad portfolio of quality and safety evaluation and operational activities, including measuring and improving health equity, regulatory quality reporting, outcomes measurement and safety analytics. She serves as a resource for clinical and operational leaders at Mass General for quality measure/KPI development and translating policy into improvement initiatives. Andrea is a lead author of Mass General’s Annual Report on Equity in Healthcare Quality and is passionate about seeking out disparities in clinical care and instituting improvement projects to eliminate them.
Andrea has a PhD in Gerontology from the University of Massachusetts and continues to volunteer in the elder services field through serving on the board of directors for a senior living organization in the greater Boston area.
