TACHTIANA CABROL

Administrative Coordinator, The Disparities Solutions Center

Tachtiana Cabrol is an Administrative Coordinator at the Disparities Solutions Center (DSC) with over 25 years in customer service and administrative support.

Prior to joining the DSC, Tachtiana worked in Primary care for 17 years. She worked in an adult care office as a Patient Service Coordinator and, in the last 7 years, served as the Practice Manager overseeing the practice's day-to-day operations. Tachtiana has also previously worked in the travel industry for 8 years. Tachtiana earned her Associates degree as a Medical Assistant at Fisher College.

Tachtiana is 1st generation immigrant of Haitian parents and speaks and reads Haitian creole fluently. She comes from a very large family who started their own foundation with a mission to provide education and health awareness to rural Haitian communities in Haiti. They began by opening a school in the house they grew up in, then to having health fairs every year in May (the month the Flag of Haiti is celebrated) in the city of Arcahaie, where her parents are from. After the devastating earthquake in Haiti on January 12, they made their trips twice a year until Haiti's politics made traveling more challenging. Still, they have continued their efforts and travel yearly to provide support.

Tachtiana will support the Director and manage calendars, meeting preparation, travel arrangements, and communication with the public.
