Maddie Wong graduated from Northeastern University in May 2023, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with magna cum laude honors. Demonstrating a passion for global health, she is embarking on a new journey in Fall 2023 by commencing a master’s program in Global Health at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Maddie joined the DSC team as a COVID Corps intern in the summer of 2022 and has continued to contribute to the team ever since. In addition to being a member of the DSC team, she has gained valuable experience working at institutions such as the Boston Children's Hospital, Boston Public Health Commission, and the Institute of Health Equity and Social Justice at Northeastern University. Currently, Maddie is assisting in the production of Massachusetts General Hospital's Annual Report on Equity in Healthcare Quality and collaborating on quality improvement initiatives within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. With a passion for advancing equitable healthcare, she hopes to leave a lasting impact in the healthcare field.
